Residents of Bungay have been recognised for their tireless dedication to the town in this year's civic celebration.
On Wednesday (November 13), guests were invited to the Fisher Theatre to celebrate their sporting excellence, charitable qualities and commitment to the market town.
Bungay Mayor, Sue Collins congratulated all nominees for the prestigious awards and they were recorded in the souvenir programme. At the event, Brandon Ling was awarded the bezant cup, with Emma Rusted, of Bungay High School, securing the Trevor Collyer cup for her sporting achievements. The civic reward was handed to Margaret Sheppard for her commitment and fundraising efforts for the town.
Group Emmanuel luncheon club's representatives, Dorothy Temple and Valerie Whyte were awarded the Madeleine Parr award and the new community group award was given to Sharon and Doug Cheer's from Bungay community table tennis club.
