Photographs have revealed the roaming bullock in the Norfolk countryside which charged at a farm worker and injured his dog.
William Beattie, of WMB Livestock, was moving a flock of sheep to a field on a farm in Gillingham, near Beccles, with his dog Mac when he encountered the bullock.
He said he was unaware the animal was loose and that it charged him and his collie.
“It missed me by six inches but trampled my dog," he said.
Mac was treated by a local vet for severe bruising.

Mr Beattie, who lives in Barnby, said the bullock had also gone after another worker on the farm, adding: “The beast is a danger.”
Both Mr Beattie and the landowners, who have asked not to be named, say the animal may have swum across the nearby River Waveney onto the land.
The whereabouts of the bullock is unknown.
The incident occurred at Hill Farm on Wednesday morning.
