A yellow weather warning for ice has been issued for parts of Suffolk.
The warning, which is in place between 4pm on Wednesday and 10am on Thursday, covers the north and east areas of the county.
Place such as Aldeburgh, Eye, Brandon, Southwold and Lowestoft have been included in the warning.
The Met Office is warning that the ice could lead to some travel disruption on the county's roads and rail networks.
Temperatures across the county are expected to drop below freezing overnight with some places reaching -3C.
It comes after the Met Office said wintry hazards could hit the county this week.
Met Office deputy chief meteorologist Rebekah Hicks said: "The whole of the UK is likely to experience a spell of several days of cold, potentially disruptive weather next week.
“Warnings for wintry hazards, including snow and ice, are possible, so it’s important to stay up to date with the latest forecast.”
A cold weather alert has been issued for the county by the UK Health Security Agency.
As well as the cold weather the Met Office has also warned that gale force winds could hit the county on Saturday.
Areas including Southwold, Aldeburgh and Lowestoft could see winds of up to 58mph on Saturday.
Inland areas including Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill could also see gale force 10 winds of 49mph.
