Traffic came to a standstill as a well-known scrap merchant's funeral was held today.

Frank Jay's funeral service took place at Holy Trinity Church in Bungay this afternoon.

A convoy of lorries and trucks drove through Trinity Road honking their horns to pay tribute to Mr Jay, known as Frankie, before coming to a stop on the road outside the church.

His final journey saw his coffin on the back of a lorry and with his flowers on another in front.

A traditional Jay and Sons cart could be seen on a trailer in the convoy.
