Education bosses have announced "exciting" plans to expand a village primary school.
Barnby and North Cove Primary School in The Street, Barnby, is to welcome a new specialist educational unit called The Broads on October 14.
The unit is for key stage two pupils with cognition and learning needs with Claire Tilley as the lead teacher.
A spokesman at the school said: “We, at Barnby and North Cove Primary School, are excited by our recent expansion with the opening of The Broads.
"We are honoured to be part of the expansion of SEN placements in Suffolk. The Broads joins a family of specialist provisions within Consortium Trust with Warren and Riverwalk."

It will be based in a purpose-built extension with two classrooms, break out spaces, and an outdoor learning area.
The spokesman added: "We have an ambitious curriculum that has been coherently planned, offering all pupils a broad range of learning opportunities that is tailored to their individual needs and interests.
"Fundamental to the design of the provision has been ensuring every pupil experiences many aspects of school life at Barnby and North Cove, together with their peers across the school, including enrichment opportunities, and educational visits.”
