A list of 23 Norfolk schools undergoing safety checks on their ceilings has been revealed.
Last week, it was revealed that more than 20 schools in the county were facing urgent inspections amid concerns over the conditions of plaster and lath ceilings.
It came after two schools - Reepham Primary and Fakenham Junior - were forced into emergency closures after discovering damage to classroom roofs.
The concerns sparked Norfolk County Council to order precautionary inspections on 27 of the sites it maintains - although this number has since been reduced to 23.
These initial checks resulted in the discovery of issues with five classrooms in Avenue Junior School in Norwich - which had to be closed for three days last week.
Pupils returned to the city site on Monday, but with these classrooms still out of action and pupils instead taught in halls and even a repurposed staffroom.
Mobile classrooms are also being sourced for the site, and repairs need to be done.
Inspections of other schools are yet to find similar issues, however not all of these have been completed.
Council bosses are also writing to academy trusts in charge schools that aren't under the local authority urging them to check their schools.
