Teenagers from two Suffolk high schools are celebrating their GCSE results as they prepare for the next steps in their lives.
Both Bungay High School and Sir John Leman High School in Beccles are ecstatic with their students' results.
Chanel Oswick, headteacher of Bungay High School, said: "Our class of 2024 have demonstrated true character throughout their high school journey and as a result of their hard work, determination and perseverance they have excelled this year, achieving fantastic results which are some of the highest in the history of the school for English and maths."
Sarah Hartshorn, headteacher of Sir John Leman, said: "I am thrilled to be welcoming so many of our year 11s into our sixth form in September.
"I wish everyone of our students every success in their next stage of their educational journey.”
Many teenagers are excited to start their new journeys studying A-levels, including Bronwen Back and Orson Cole at Bungay High School, and Emily Taylor at Sir John Leman.
Bronwen Back was "thrilled" with her results, and was particularly proud of her grade 9s in biology, chemistry, and history. She is looking to follow a career in medicine.
Orson Cole was "lost for words with his results, especially maths" which he achieved a grade 8 in. He is looking to head into a career in finance.
