A discount shop has opened in St Mary's Street, Bungay, with the motto "when it's gone, it's gone!"

Riches Discounts, run by Hollie Riches, opened their doors to the public earlier this week.

Robbie Riches, Holly's husband and owner of Earsham Sheds, said: "The aim of the shop is to offer the local communities a variety of items at a reasonable price.

"We are hoping to help everyone out in these harder times. People are struggling."

The unique part of the shop is the constantly changing stock.

Mr Riches said: "I have been buying and collecting stock from around the country from businesses that have gone under for three or four months.

While sorting the stock out was their biggest challenge, they said it was worth it.

"We are then selling this stock in our own shop so there will always be fresh stock. Nobody knows what will come in which makes it quite exciting," Mr Riches added.

Mr and Mrs Riches have said they had received "a really great response" from people who live in the area.

They said: "It has been brilliant and really busy. There has not been any negativity and it seems to be something lots of people are excited about."

Mr Riches has said: "We have started on a six month lease to see how it goes.

"However, if it is successful, we hope in the future that we can expand to other nearby towns as well."
