Drivers are facing disruption due to a machinery breakdown on a town road.
Queen Elizabeth Drive, Coney Hill, Oak Lane and surrounding roads in Beccles have been forced to remain closed over the weekend due to the breakdown.
Carriageway resurfacing has been underway since Tuesday and was expected to be completed by Monday, August 12.
Suffolk Highways has said access for locals will be allowed, however the bus route will remain suspended over the weekend.
Suffolk County Council will continue to enforce the road closures.
Work has been reported to resume on Monday, August 12.
