Villagers have launched an attempt to reduce the speed limit through the area, in order to improve safety.
Topcroft Parish Council is co-ordinating efforts to see a 30mph limit replace the national speed limit of 60mph on Topcroft Street, past Church Road, past the crossroads and on to Mill Road.
Councillors say the change will make the village safer and have agreed to write to Norfolk County Council to request it.

The issue was discussed at a recent parish council meeting, which also heard that a mystery individual had knocked down the village's nature reserve post and cut down wildflowers on the verges along King's Road.
To resolve the mystery, councillors have asked Norfolk County Council if it was one of their contractors, and have ordered a new post.
The next Topcroft Parish Council meeting is to be held on September 9.
