A crash between a car and a lorry closed a main road in both directions.
Emergency services shut the A143 in Wortwell, near Harleston, shortly before 2pm on Monday.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene and the road was closed between the Tunbeck Road junction and the B1062 junction northeast of the village.
Traffic built up in the area as motorists were diverted away from the scene.
An air ambulance reportedly landed at the scene.
The road has now re-opened and traffic has returned to its normal levels.
