A Rotary club has welcomed a former lifeboat crew member as its latest addition.
David Barnard has been inducted into the Beccles Rotary Club and he also participates in community programs like the Rogues Shanty Chorus.
His induction was one of the last official tasks for then club president, Toni Watkins-Burton.
Mr Barnard had visited the club to share his lifeboat tales, which sparked his desire to join.
To join get in touch through an existing Rotarian or at the Fox and Hounds Social Club on Ravensmere where on most Thursdays a Rotary meeting takes place.
