A masked figure believed to be a man nicknamed the Bungay Gimp has been recorded on camera ringing a stranger's doorbell in the middle of the night.
The bizarre incident, which was captured on Ring doorbell footage, alarmed locals who reported it to police.
However, officers have declined to investigate as they say no crime has been committed.
The footage was recorded outside a property on Outney Road, on the outskirts of Bungay, at 2.42am on Saturday.
It shows a man standing next to the front door, in the outdoor porch area of the property.
The images show the figure wearing exactly the same shoes, combat trousers, top, hood and mask as the so-called Bungay Gimp, who has become a notable figure in the town in recent months.
He is often seen walking its streets with his face almost fully covered, and many locals have expressed concern about his appearance, which they say they find frightening.
Hours before the incident, the Gimp was unmasked as 26-year-old Josh Harper, who gave an interview to this newspaper in which he said he did not mean to cause alarm and was simply "minding his own business".
Police have previously received complaints that the Bungay Gimp had followed women and schoolchildren.
But officers said there was no evidence of any crime and Mr Harper denied the accusations and said he had been misunderstood.
He told this newspaper: "I mind my own business just walking about to keep my head clear. I have better things to do with my time than to stalk people.
"I want people to know that I don't follow anyone. I just walk.
"I sometimes walk to Beccles, Harleston, Bungay. If that bothers people then I'm sorry but I really don't know what for."

Mr Harper said he wore the mask as it helped him in all weather.
"The mask keeps the sun off my face when it’s hot. It keeps me warm when it’s cold and also it hides my moustache because I don’t have any razors."
The Bungay Gimp has become a major topic of conversation on local Facebook pages and a post about the latest incident - since removed - read: "Outney Road, 2.42am creeping around, luckily I think the ring doorbell scared him away.
"Very unsettling especially as vulnerable residents live here! Please lock your doors!"
