A change of format encouraged increased creativity at the Bungay Camera Club's recent competition.
Members were faced with a unique challenge to submit three individual images for three distinct themes; previously, a single theme had been tackled by a colour print, a mono print, and a projected digital image (PDI).
According to the club, this change was designed to spark more creativity while enabling new members to create and offer images for competition.
The themes members had to interpret were; 'A Book' for coloured prints, 'Frozen In Time' for mono prints, and 'On A Small Scale' for PDIs.
The competition was judged by Rob Howarth from Lowestoft, who scored each image out of 20 points.
Mr Howarth said: "I am very pleased to be returning to Bungay Camera Club as it is always an interesting evening seeing the images presented.
"The standard of images on show was high and it was great to see that a lot of creativity and thought had gone into producing the prints and PDIs.
"It has been another enjoyable evening spent with Bungay Camera Club and I look forward to visiting again"
Honours were even, with multiple joint winners for each category.
In the 'A Book' coloured prints theme, Jim Moore's 'Murder In Mind' and Mark Gray's 'Cook Book' took joint first place.
Andy Wilson's 'Woodland Fungi' and Sue Grief's 'Scaling The Peaks' were on top for 'On A Small Scale' PDI.
Peter Nixon's 'Freeze Frame-Battling The Beast' and Andy Wilson's 'Iced Up at 18.54.41' were the joint winners in 'Frozen In Time' mono prints.
Looking to the future, keen photographers and casual enthusiasts should note August 31 in their diaries.
On this day, the Bungay Camera Club will be holding their annual exhibition and fair at Broome Village Hall.
