A Norfolk village could get three new homes built after a planning application was submitted.
The applicant, Vincent Ferrer, has applied to have the properties built on land west of Bungay Road in the village of Thwaite.
Documents lodged with South Norfolk Council say the three single-storey homes will be "visually attractive as a result of good architecture, layout and appropriate".
In addition, they will be built "sympathetic to the local character" and have been "designed to reflect the local vernacular" of the village.
The total site area of the outlined for development is 1.21 acres - for context, a football pitch is approximately two acres in size.

Plans say that the development in size is merely a "modest extension to the existing settlement" in the village.
The properties will be "self-built/custom built" meaning an individual builds them, a group of individuals, or persons working with or for them, to be occupied by that individual.
