Cold weather looks set to return to Suffolk in the coming weeks as snow and wintry hazards have been forecast for the county.
The Met Office is warning that toward the back end of the month temperatures could drop to below average, bringing the potential for wintry showers.
A spokesman for the Met Office said forecasts are showing unsettled weather for Suffolk for the first half of March.
Towards the middle of the month dry weather is expected which should bring more sunshine, but the spokesman said with this will come chillier starts to days.
Conditions are however expected to return unsettled again towards the end of the month.
There is also a sign in the forecast for blocking patterns, which is where high and low-pressure meet and is expected to bring strong winds to the county.
At the back end of the month, the Met Office has warned that winds from the north and east will bring down cold Scandinavian air with the chance of snowfall hitting Suffolk.
A Met Office spokesman said: "There is a chance later in the month that snow and wintery hazards may reach Suffolk after being brought over from the North Sea."
