Police have extended the bail of a man alleged to have committed a screwdriver attack.
The incident happened at about 2.20pm on Wednesday, September 13 when a man was assaulted during an argument in the Thoroughfare car park in Halesworth, close to Huggys Carshop & Cycle repairs.
The victim, aged in his 50s, was injured with a screwdriver and suffered puncture wounds.
He was taken to the hospital for a precautionary check-up.
A man, aged in his late 50s, was arrested in connection with the incident and initially bailed until November 12.
But police have now confirmed that the man's bail has been extended until March 3.
Officers investigating the incident were also keen to speak to a woman who they understand intervened in the dispute.
