A former bank in a Suffolk town could have a new lease of life after a licensing application was submitted.
The name of the premises which might open in the former Halifax bank in Beccles' Market Place is The Tap Room.
The site of the former Halifax branch has been empty since July 5, 2022, when the bank finished operating from there.

A review by the bank found 66pc of customers used online or telephone banking or other Halifax branches, aiding their decision to close.
Now applicants, Matthew Mills and Cloe Nelson, are hoping for permission to sell alcohol between noon and 11pm between Monday to Saturday and between noon and 10pm on Sundays.
The closing date for representations over the premises application was December 1 and East Suffolk Council is currently reviewing it.
