A yellow weather warning has been extended across east Suffolk this weekend.
The Met Office said the warning will now end at 10am on Saturday, December 2 along the Suffolk coast.
It came into place at 5pm on Thursday, November 30 and was due to end at 11am today.
Western parts of the county including Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket are not included in either weather warning.
This morning Ipswich residents woke up to a light dusting of snow which fell during the early hours.
Further wintry showers could lead to icy patches developing in coastal towns such as Aldeburgh and Southwold.
Some roads and railways are likely to be affected and journeys by road or train could take longer.
The Met Office has also warned that there may be some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, and is advising people to take care when travelling.
