The owner of a new botanical shop on a thriving street full of independent traders is enjoying a "good start to life" after she opened her business in a Suffolk market town.
The Open Garden on Blyburgate in Beccles has been officially unveiled as the town mayor Christine Wheeler cut the ribbon to the business.
Owner and proprietor, Elizabeth Elliott, is a trained garden designer and florist.
She said she is "very happy" to be trading in Beccles and delighted with how she is settling in.
Mrs Elliott added: "I am very happy to be trading in Beccles, it is a lovely town and already I have met so many lovely people.
"People have been so kind and warming which has helped us settle in nicely.
