Following the AA Hospitality Awards in September, here is the updated list of Suffolk restaurants that hold three or four AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
These dining spots in Suffolk have been named among the best eateries in the UK and were recognised by a team of AA inspectors.
1921 Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds was bumped up another Rosette in the prestigious guide this year.
Destinations with three or more Rosettes "demand national recognition well beyond their local area," the AA said.
Those spots with four AA Rosettes are described as "among the top restaurants in the UK where the cooking demands national recognition".

1921 Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds
1921 Angel Hill was bumped up from two to three AA Rosettes during the awards ceremony this year.
Under the watchful eye of Zack Deakins, chef patron, the relaxed fine dining experience has been featured in The Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide, as well as winning several local awards.
The food was also awarded five stars by our own reviewing team.
The Bildeston Crown, Bildeston
The Bildeston Crown has retained its three AA Rosettes since 2008 - an accolade few can boast.
Head chef Vicky Tolfrey took over in the spring of 2022 and has maintained the great culinary reputation that the restaurant is known locally for.

Upstairs at The Mill, Tuddenham
Upstairs at The Mill is the only Suffolk restaurant with four AA Rosettes, cementing it as one of the best eateries in the country,
Led by Chef Patron Lee Bye, the chef team aims to create exciting menus that are inspired by the Suffolk countryside, only using the best local ingredients in inventive dishes.
