A cat has been put down after suffering a terrible beating at the hands of an unknown suspect.
Suffolk police is appealing for witnesses after a family pet was found seriously injured in Southwold Road, Brampton, near Halesworth, on Wednesday, September 13.
The owner took the cat to the vet, who believes that the injuries sustained are the result of being stamped, kicked and trampled on.

The wounds were so significant that the cat had to be put down.
