A Beccles-based company is celebrating after hitting the back of the net and receiving a prestigious FIFA accreditation.
Sports equipment manufacturer MH Goals expressed pride as its new Stadium Box Goal has been officially recognised as a FIFA Quality Product.
This latest top accreditation for the family run company, based on the Ellough Industrial Estate in Beccles, has been a key aim since the new standard was announced by FIFA.
The new quality standard provided an opportunity to overhaul and redesign the company's popular top of the range box goal.
With a number of special features, the goals include external micro height adjustment, a strengthened aluminium section and a new net attachment system which is encapsulated into the goal frame using MH Goals’ Hold Fast net hooks.
The folding net rail has also been upgraded and now includes a ground locking system with added strengthening wire to the nets.
With the renowned accreditation building on the required safety standards, it also requires a number of other key workplace policies being achieved.
This was all before the goals had to be tested by an approved 'FIFA test house' to fulfil the latest FIFA safety standards.
MH Goals sales director Matthew Harrod said: "This new pro goal has been in progress for some time so it’s great to not only introduce it to the football world, but also to have the all-important FIFA accreditation to go with it.
"At MH Goals we strive to be at the forefront of the market with our range of unique British manufactured products but also to have the international quality marks and accreditations to back it up."
The new FIFA goal is now available to purchase online at MHGoals.com
