Officials have launched an investigation after receiving a series of noise complaints about a reggae event held at a prominent pub on the Norfolk Broads.
The daytime party, at the Beachamp Arms on the banks of the River Yare, attracted more than 400 revellers and involved 32 DJs.
They were joined by officers from South Norfolk Council, who went to the scene to check the noise levels, after receiving a number of complaints from locals.
They say they are still conducting inquiries to see if the event - on June 24 - broke any license conditions.
Raymond Hollocks, the pub landlord, insists there were no breaches.
He has been involved in a number of disputes with the local council, as well as the Broads Authority, over the Beauchamp Arms, and his other Broads sites, at Berney Arms and Loddon marina.

He claims the latest investigation is a "personal attack", which he described as "pathetic and childish".
He said: "We are fully licensed to host music and food at the premises.
"The organisation for these events is unfaultable. We have bouncers working the doors to make sure nothing illegal is being brought into the event.
"And I always inform the police ahead of the event and ask them to be present to ensure there is no trouble.
"The pub is in such a remote location I find it impossible to believe there were any complaints.
"I have good relationships with our neighbours too. It's evidently a pathetic and childish personal attack."
The council strongly denies this and says it always investigates complaints to "protect the local community”.

Councillor Keith Kiddie said: “We can confirm that the council is dealing with noise complaints concerning the Beauchamp Arms.
"While we cannot comment on individual cases under investigation or enforcement, we are always pleased to work with businesses that are willing to receive advice in order to minimise disturbance to residents.
"The council will intervene formally where it is necessary and proportionate to protect the local community.”
The venue is hosting an overnight rave this weekend, called 'Beers, BBQs and Bass', organised by Delusional Drumz.
