Two friends are eager to stamp their mark on an established coffee shop and fulfil their "dream" after agreeing to take over the business.
Archie Jones, 26 and Jacob Oddy, 30 will be taking over speciality coffee shop Quaff East in Beccles, which former owner David Nickerson-Smith launched in September 2019.
The pair have been working in the hospitality and service industry for 10 years each and say it is their "dream" to run their own business.
Mr Oddy said: "I have been saving up to buy my own business for a decade now, patiently waiting for the right opportunity, it has always been a dream of mine.
"There have been times I was tempted to rush in somewhere, but this moment feels right, and running it as equal partners with Archie is going to be fabulous.
"He is a pastry chef and I will focus more on the coffees, we cannot wait to stamp our own mark on the place, and have ambitious plans for the business."
The pair have planned a rebranding of the business and believe inheriting an already thriving coffee shop in Quaff East will enable them to stamp their mark.
Mr Oddy said: "The building is a historic old school, and the coffee shop side was once a former boy's school.
"So with our rebranding we decided on the name Old School to tie in with the history of the building, which was a school that closed in 1868.
"We are looking to focus on delivering the basics well, barista quality coffee, and brunch options with sweet and savoury takeouts which Archie will excel at having worked with the Two Magpies.

"Importantly we aim to create a relaxing atmosphere for families, pet owners and accessible to all.
"We’re so excited to bring our combined industry knowledge back to our hometown of Beccles."
Mr Oddy and Mr Jones offered their thanks to Mr Nickerson-Smith for the opportunity to take over his shop and plan to open for the Beccles Food and Drink Festival 2023 which is on Saturday, May 27.
The shop is based at 33a Newgate, Beccles.
