A bus company boss has expressed his "delight" in announcing an extension to a popular route.
The Border Bus 522 route will be extended to Beccles.
Previously the route ran from Halesworth, Saxmundham, Leiston and Aldeburgh.
But after taking on board customer feedback, Border Bus CEO, Andrew Pursey, said the route will allow passengers to use their services to connect to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.
Mr Pursey said: "The 522 line has run for five years now, initially starting up as a service for pupils to get to the Alde Valley School in Leiston.
"After hearing a lot of complaints from customers in Halesworth bemoaning the difficulties of getting to the James Paget Hospital we are proud and delighted to announce we have extended the line to Beccles.
"We have managed to time our 522 buses to arrive at Beccles Old Market five minutes before the connection to Yarmouth, which goes to the James Paget Hospital."
We're improving our 522 timetable from 2 May.

Mr Pursey believes that the extension is a good move ahead of the busy summer season for businesses and customers.
He said: "We hope the extension will capture the busy summer trade.
"We are giving the people of Beccles an alternative destination to have a day out in the summer.
"In Beccles, our busy 146 line serves Southwold and is popular, so with the government's £2 single journey scheme still in place, people can now have a day in Aldeburgh instead.
"It is an exciting announcement and we have so far had really positive feedback."
