A special exhibition to celebrate more than 100 years of a town's sailing club is preparing to open ahead of this weekend.
Beccles and District Museum opens for its 2023 season on Saturday, April 1, with a special exhibition featuring the history of Beccles Amateur Sailing Club and also of the Beccles Regatta.
The club has supplied a wealth of historic material for the exhibition going back over a hundred years.
Club president Janet Forster-Warnes said: "I’m delighted that Beccles Museum will be hosting the first-ever exhibition of Beccles Amateur Sailing Club’s history.
"The club was formed in 1907 and items including the first-minute book to current activities will be on show.
