Part of a much-loved stretch of riverside common land has been sold at auction.
Outney Common, commonly called Bungay Common, is 400 acres of countryside within the River Waveney's loop to the north of Bungay.
Last month saw an area the size of one three-hundredth the common, called 'one common', go under the hammer.
Durrants issued a guide price of £8,000 - £10,000.
Bidding started at £9,500, with three parties placing bids before it was sold for £12,500.
Outney Common is just outside Bungay, off the A143 towards Bungay Golf Club.
It is divided into two sections - the Lows, which makes up about half of the land and is low-lying grazing land along the River Waveney, and the Hards, which is higher ground in the middle.
The Hards has an 18-hole golf course and a right-to-roam heathland area that is popular with walkers.
The common is also a popular place to spot wildlife, find wildflowers, go fishing, and swim in the Waveney's pristine waters at an area called 'Sandy River'. The nearby Outney Meadow Caravan Park offers canoe rentals.
Durrants' next property auctions are on April 26 and May 31.
