An artistic pair have been working hard on a bespoke trilogy of plays based on wartime Britain and "cannot wait" for audiences to enjoy them.
The trilogy of short plays, written by William Drew-Batty and his partner Victoria Bacon, focuses on the torment of love and loss in the Second World War.
Mr Drew-Batty said: "Two of the plays are fictional, however, one is based on a true story from Victoria's book, Remembering Remarkable Women of the Second World War.
"Ray Edwards, who was a child during the war, will be in attendance on the night and will be keen to speak with people as he remembers growing up in wartime Britain.
"It will be great for people to come along and experience the powerful, emotive and poignant stories and reflect on different times.
