An event that is always hugely popular when it comes round on the calendar, the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival is a favourite amongst foodies.

This summer, The Taste of Sudbury Food and Drink Festival will return to National Trust site, Melford Hall.

The festival showcases the best of Sudbury's local produce and tickets can be found on the website.

Held on the Bank Holiday weekend in August, as per tradition, Bury St Edmunds' food and drink festival is a much-loved event in the market town each year.

This free event has drawn the likes of famous chef Jean-Christophe Novelli in the past.

Where: St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds IP33 1LS

When: Wednesday, August 23 to Monday, August 28

Another festival which will be going on in Bury St Edmunds in August is the 31st annual East Anglian Beer and Cider Festival.

For six days, St Edmundsbury Cathedral will play host to over 250 real ales and 40 ciders along with food stalls and a music stage.

In May, people from Beccles and beyond will descend upon the town to sample the very best of Suffolk's produce.

Last year, record crowds turned out for the event, with more than 60 artisan stalls showcasing their wares.
