Primary school pupils helped to raise the spirits of patients at Beccles Hospital when they led a special carol singing session.
The youngsters from Albert Pye Community Primary School visited Minsmere Ward on Friday, December 16 to sing Christmas carols to patients in the day room.
The Minsmere Ward is run by Lowestoft-based East Coast Community Healthcare as an Intermediate Care Unit.
It provides treatment for people who require medical care or therapy but do not need acute care in a general hospital, and also has six beds for those needing specialist palliative care.
Rebecca Miller, intermediate care unit lead, said: "It was really special to have the children visit to sing for our patients.
"They put a smile on everyone’s faces.
"We do all we can to make sure those staying in hospital over Christmas have a happy time and there’s nothing quite like the enthusiasm of young people to bring some good cheer."
