A rotary club has rallied round to help boost aspiring students at a high school.
Beccles Rotary Club has met the needs of Sir John Leman High School for new achievement folders for students to use.
With the last set of folders - which were funded by the club in 2019 - having all been used up, a new set costing just over £350 was purchased with money from the rotary club’s charitable trust.
A club spokesman said: "The folders will enable year 11 students to collate and present their achievements, particularly for use in future interviews."
The treasurer and junior vice president of the club, Theresa Robinson, handed over the cheque to some of the school prefects at a gathering organised by Allison Copeman, the school’s Careers Leader, who expressed thanks on behalf of the school.
This is part of an ongoing programme of co-operation and support between the club and the high school.
