A man and his partner in a Norfolk town have been left "shaken” after their garage had been broken into, with thieves stealing his two motorbikes.
Mr Bunn came downstairs in his Loddon home on Friday, November 4 to see the garage door has been broken into when he noticed his motorbikes, ‘Husqvarna te300I’ and a ‘Husqvarna 701 supermoto’ missing.
The two bikes and fishing gear stolen is worth around £25,000, and Mr Bunn says both he and his partner “feel sick” knowing people had broken into their property.
“I was gutted when I realised what had happened, came as such a shock.
“I really hope that karma gets the person or people who have done this to me, striking in the middle of the night while my partner and one-year-old were sleeping.
“The idea that people had broken into our property, albeit just the garage, but could have got into the house from there makes us feel sick.
“You never feel as though anything like this will happen to you, it has really shaken my partner and me up.”
Matt Bunn, 32, who lives in Loddon, had listed the bikes on Gumtree weeks before they were stolen.
Mr Bunn experienced interest from one particular account which appeared "suspicious", with Mr Bunn believing the person or people behind the account to be responsible.
Mr Bunn said: “I had one person showing interest, saying they were then going to buy and then disappearing.
“I didn’t think much of it because potential buyers often flake, those who have sold things online will know that.
“The person who had flirted with the idea of buying my bikes had then also deleted their Gumtree account, it seemed very suspicious to me.”
A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said: “Police received a report of the theft of two motorcycles said to be worth approximately £23,000 on November 4 between 2.30 am and 6 am.
"Various other items were also taken. Police investigations are still ongoing."
Anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen the dogs, is urged to contact Norfolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 36/85684/22.
