COULING JAMES (Jim) Passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2023, aged 88 years. Loving father to Philip and Ian and grandfather to Natassia, Sarah, Laura, William, Alex and Sophie. Great-grandfather to Alexander, Luke, Elijah, Harper, India, Scout, Augie, Cove, Ophelia, Mason and Dylan. Jim lived in Beccles for most of his life and is best known for his days as a Shopkeeper, 1969-1973 (in the Newmarket and Darby Road) and as an insurance agent for the Co-operative Insurance from 1973-1997. Throughout his life in Beccles, he was an active participant in many sports, but especially Friday Night Badminton at the Sports Centre and playing Football for Barsham City. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The funeral service will take place at Gorleston Crematorium on Wednesday, November 8th at 1.45 p.m. Family flowers only please, but if desired donations in memory of Jim are going to the East Anglia's Children's Hospices and The Samaritans and may be sent to Murrant Family Funeral Services, 14 The Green, Martham, NR29 4PA.
