COLBRIDGE FREDERICK HENRY (Freddie Martini) Died peacefully at The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on May 7th, 2016. A father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Fred was for many years Landlord of the Foxburrow in Lowestoft. That was preceded for years covering East Anglia as a representative for Martini and Rossi. He served as General Manager of the Full Bore Pistol and Rifle Club in Gorleston and similarly at The Hall Quay Club in Great Yarmouth during retirement years as well as numerous relief holds at pubs in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. An active LVA member and fundraiser for what was the Licence Victuallers National Homes. A fundraiser in Fakenham, where he was referred to as the Farthing King, he then continued his charity work in Lowestoft for the Life Boat and in Norwich latterly for the NNAB, where he was known at the Tiddler King, also a Parish Councillor in Old Catton. A service will be held at St Margarets Church, Old Catton, on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016, at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Old Catton Cemetery, then a gathering at the Blue Boar, Sprowston, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only, although donations for the Lowestoft Lifeboat or the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind can be made c/o Gordon Barber Funeral Home, 2 St Williams Way, Norwich, NR7 0AW or at the church on June 14th.Your tribute has been received.
