SMITH JUNE IRENE Of Abbeyfield, Beccles (formerly of Glenwood Drive, Worlingham), sadly passed away in hospital on February 22nd, 2021, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan Smith, sister of the late John, dear sister-in-law to Rita, Bernard and Liz. June will be fondly remembered by her family, her many friends, ex-colleagues and the numerous patients she nursed throughout her long career, spanning over 35 years, working in both Lowestoft and Beccles Hospitals and later as District Nurse. Abbeyfield was her home for the last ten years, where she was cared for by excellent staff. Junes family would like to extend their grateful thanks to everyone there and especially to Kerry and Karen. A private cremation will take place. No flowers or service by Junes request.
